Having been to EDC Las Vegas, I can tell you the thing we dreaded most was the traffic in and out of the speedway. After the first night, we left early to try and avoid some of the problems, nope, it still took too long to get back. The good news though is that Insomniac has finally heard our cries of boredom from the car and implemented a few new things for 2015 to potentially save us a headache or two.
In 2015 Premier Parking and Shuttle passes will be offered to help expedite attendees into and out of the speedway. Those parking passes will cost about $130 after fees, but you’ll end up in front of the S Gate entrance without much problem.
The shuttle passes will cost about $100 after fees, but with stops all along the strip, it may save you the hassle of driving to and from the speedway each day. Check out the schedule below. Your shuttle pass is good for one stop the entire weekend so choose wisely.
We’ll see how well this new idea of premier parking and the continued use of shuttle passes effect traffic congestion to and from the speedway. It feels like anything will beat my first experience though.
