Electric Zoo To Step Up Safety Measures In 2014

April 21, 2014 by Grant Austin

ezoo

The Wall Street Journal recently did an article that discussed the upcoming plans for stepping up safety at Electric Zoo. As you know, last year, the third day was unfortunately cancelled due to an overdose. This year, promoters are trying to combat these issues.

The first thing they are doing is shortening the event to limit exposure to the sun. They will include more pad-downs and drug sniffing dogs along with undercover narcotic specialists. They are also questioning the use of “amnesty bins” where users will submit their drugs or alcohol in return for no penalty what-so-ever. This same idea has been used in Europe for years or don’t do drugs at all.
