Eptic releases his debut full-length, “The End Of The World,” which features collaborations with artists such as Dillon Francis, Marauda, MUST DIE!, and HOL!, as the album is a multi-genre deep dive into Eptic’s creative growth over the past few years.
Eptic told us “It has always been difficult for me to release my music. Everything you send out into the world is a new impression people get of you as an artist. There’s a lot of great producers out there so I find it very hard committing to the idea of a song being done when there’s always room for improvement. Constantly touring, flying international and the pressure of social media got me into a state of feeling burnt out. I had a complete mental meltdown during the pandemic. Even though the long quarantine meant I was technically out of a job for a while, it did take away a lot of the mental strain I was struggling with, and it revived my love for just hanging out and writing music for fun. With that renewed mindset, the idea of my first album was born. I would be lying if I said writing this album went smooth. Making this collection of music has been the most difficult and frustrating project i’ve worked on in my entire life. It’s literal blood, sweat, anger, doubt and a lot of tears. Now that it’s finished, I couldn’t be prouder. I’m not trying to please anybody, I could’ve made a full dubstep album, but I chose to make a bass album with a lot of different genres and styles, which for me the EPTIC project has always been about. I’m excited for everyone to hear it and hopefully my fans aren’t to harsh.. or I will beat the shit out of them.”
