I’ve been meaning to post this for a while and wanted to talk about it on the Podcast before I did. On episode 3 of Backstage with the EDM Assassins we talked about this festival and how excited we are about this. I never heard about this festival before, but I received an email about it. After reading the press release (which I’ll post below), I had to talk about it. The concert takes place right outside of Austin, Texas at Carson Creek Ranch. It takes place on April 25th and April 26th. Tickets start at $99.00 whereas camping tickets start at $150. Along with the music, there will be workshops like How to DJ 101, Yoga, and much more!
What is interesting about this festival is that when creating this, they wanted to create something new and different. They didn’t want to be another carbon copy event that you see. I can’t blame them either. All the festivals have a similar feel with different aesthetics. They achieved that with this festival as they brought a number of artists that are all different sub-genres of EDM. It is quite amazing to see it all. They are all fantastic artists. Having Zeds Dead and Gareth Emery as headliners is clutch. Here is the list of everyone performing.
Late Night Radio
Luke the Knife
The Motet Play Jamiroquai
Keys N Krates
This is a solid lineup. Check out the trailer!
Here’s the press release.
