The mashup is either a spectacular hit, or a spectacular failure. In the case of Kap Slap, there is a flawless transition between songs and the blending of two or three tracks at a time is seamless and sounds better than the originals. Heading into one of Kap Slap’s sets you should expect to hear some great mashups, definitely a remix or two, and of course some original works.
Given The Larimer Lounge is a small venue, expect Kap Slap to put on one hell of a show as he gears up for a 2016 with remix and original releases, tour dates and plenty more. I had the pleasure of seeing Kap Slap at Euphoria Music Festival last April and his technical skills blew my mind while I was busy dancing in the open fields with my camera, too busy to take pictures. Infusing electronica with pop, classic hits, and plenty more, Kap Slap defies all attempts at classification while giving fans a unique experience they will not soon forget.
