North Coast Music Festival is upon us this upcoming Labor Day weekend, with the 7th iteration of the festival being held at the wildly popular Union Park.
North Coast is constantly the go-to fest that Chicago locals flock to in order to top their summer off right. Labeled as “Summer’ Last Stand”, the title is very fitting. It has been the fest to top off festival season for me the last three years in a row and it never disappoints.
This year’s lineup really packs a punch just from the top few rows themselves. Washington residents ODESZA, bass music powerhouse Bassnectar, and the Grammy Award winning producer Zedd all headline Friday, Saturday, and Sunday respectively. Aside from the headliners, there are still plenty of incredible performances that will woo the crowd all weekend. With the likes of Umphrey’s McGee, Grouplove, Logic, Galantis, The Floozies, Zomboy, Juicy J, Keys N Krates, Matt & Kim, and more, the weekend will be constantly keep the audience entertained and expecting for more.
Not to forget, the Heineken House will be bumping all weekend long to some classic house beats. Most notable, Farley Jackmaster Funk will be closing out the HH festivities on Sunday and in a proper manner– the man is a living legend and North Coast being able to add him to the lineup is massively impressive. Detroit’s very own Golf Clap and the up and coming duo of Walker & Royce will be making appearances at the Heineken House during the weekend as well.
Labor Day weekend always has lots of options, but make sure to have North Coast Music Festival on your radar for this weekend!
