This weekend we venture off to Somerset, Wisconsin for the fifth annual Summer Set Music Festival. Bringing in a variety of artists from rappers Chance the Rapper and the Social Experiment and Logic, to instrumental electronica STS9 and Infected Mushroom, trap DJ’s NGHTMRE and Marshmello, Summer Set has a wide range of acts to offer for every taste. Though Summer Set continues to bring in big named artists they are also notorious for showcasing locals such as Porn and Chicken, Artifakts, Guggenz and more.

Illenium – Being in the spotlight for a little over a year now, we’ve watched Illenium as he has grown as an artist back from the beginning. From originals, collaborations and remixes don’t let his melodic sound fool you. Though it is beautiful, he does bring more than just that to his live performance. You do not want to miss out on this one.

Porn and Chicken – These Chicago natives bring a unique experience of its own to every set they play, you never know what crazy antics they will bring out on stage. Popular original trap track Snapchat That Booty Clap and remixes such as Brittney Spears’ Work Bitch, Porn and Chicken will surely have you moving.

Autograf – Also Chicago natives, this trio brings a more chill, tropical type vibe to their performance making it a perfect set for closing out our summer. Playing festivals all around the Midwest, they have definitely made themselves a name. Check out their most recent EP Future Soup to prepare you for their set this Saturday at The Grove.

Hinting on their Snapchat, Summer Set states that their production this year is bigger and better than ever. We’re crossing our fingers that Summer Set brings back the huge misting fans that were at both the Grove stage and the Main stage to help beat the heat. Though this year is looking to be a lot cooler than last year, you never know what to expect with the weather! Along with bigger and better production, new rides, more art installations and both food and merchandise vendors to tie the festival together.
