Facebook has been hitting up all of the record labels as of lately to essentially be the next outlet for musicians to post their music. Currently, we have Spotify, Pandora, Apple Music, Soundcloud, YouTube and a number of others that people truly go for their music. Facebook has been a huge venue with artists having their pages and using it as an outlet to reach other to their fans. Now, they are trying to move towards licensing music for the entire site. This could potentially bring in billions of new sales according to Bloomberg as well as setup deals for other social media websites.
