Far East Movement have been around for a fair while now, well before their infamous tune Like a G6 with The Cataracs, however they’re still producing insanely good tunes 13 years later, and that’s shown on their fifth album Identity. Mixing electronic music with RnB and a bit of hip Hop, they’ve worked with artists from all cultures and styles to create Identity. There’s representation from multiple K-pop artists, as well as Soulja Boy, Tinashe, Marshmello, MNEK and even Macy Gray. Production-wise, the album takes a Trap – Hip Hop orientation, however there’s a lot of variation throughout the tunes to satisfy any fan of Pop, Hip Hop, RnB or electronic music.
