Feint & Josh Rubin – Let Me Go

February 24, 2023 by Brilmere Chance

Known for his powerful and passionate voice, Josh Rubin has become a well-known topliner throughout the EDM community. He has collabed on singles for Lowly, Seeking Blue, Proximity, and Dim Mak. Just as impressive is fellow artist Feint, who is one of Monstercat’s most popular veteran artists. Along with his 800k-plus monthly Spotify listeners, Feint has mixed at Liquicity, Rampage, and other celebrated DnB festivals.

Bursting back onto the scene in 2023, Rubin and Feint are back with their new mesmerizing single, “Let Me Go”. Talking about the meaning behind the track, Rubin says, “most of us can relate to a time when we held on too long to someone we knew deep down wasn’t right for us. It’s easy to get so comfortable with someone that you start to lose parts of yourself and it makes it that much harder to leave a bad situation. This song is about feeling like you want to walk away but can’t. Hoping that other person will give you a sign to help you make the hard choice of leaving.”

Released on the globally recognized imprint of Monstercat, “Let Me Go” is an introspective auditory voyage for listeners. Rubin adds lush vocals into the celestial sound design forged by Feint. In the center of “Let Me Go”, lies an intense fast-paced DnB bassline that is guaranteed to make its audience go wild. This magical dance anthem is the start to monumental year for both Rubin and Feint.
