Melodic drum and bass has got to be one of my favorite genres of electronic music today. With that deep bass sound complimented by complex percussion, and beautiful melodies to overlay them… Ahhh. The energy that it infuses into you is incredible and you can sing along with the lyrics and mesmerizing melody as your body rages to the drum and bass side of things like there is no tomorrow. The dichotomy of the music is what makes it so fun to listen to.
I can appreciate the complexity and the production that goes into the drum and bass portion, but to also have a melody that reaches out and touches you emotionally.. That is something you don’t hear every day. Lucky for you, I’ve embedded the track below and you can listen to it for yourself!
