Felix Jaehn has released his newest single, Cut The Cord, and it has a noticeably new feel to it. The track features the assistance from Berlin-based producing team Hitimpulse. I love the ballad-style vocals that are featured on the album. They are lyrics that any fan can learn and sing along to this beautiful song to. The vocal effects don’t take away from quality of lyrics, but work it better with the beat progression.
The verses are supported with melodies that are smooth and relaxing. The drop turns into chops of a new beat sequence. Adding strong percussion to push the tempo along. The instrumentals used are a beautiful blend of piano and percussion focused around bass.
