With all of the overproduced Tropical House out there, it’s been a while since I’ve heard some alternative, experimental sounds with that vibe. Not to mention an entire EP. Across the three songs on this EP, GiiANA has taken Chill, Tropical, House, Trap, Pop and Tech, and found a place snug in the middle. Not a place occupied by many others, by all means. The beauty of the Paradise EP, though, is that parts of some songs aren’t mixed or mastered to sound clean and “perfect” like most songs are. It sounds like it was done on purpose though, and works to GiiANA’s advantage by adding a level of imperfection to each song.
This is electronic music for listening as it should be.
