I have no idea how I ran into this song, but if you’re looking for a some good jersey club/trap to play as a club set. Gio Nailati brought out a style of lyrics and instrumentals I rarely hear anymore. This track may be one you want to look at. I will concede that the track has some intense lyrics, but it brings me back to the “ragers” that we had back in undergrad with heavy and loud bass, fast tempo, vocal verses that lead to fast, aggressive drops and quick, interchanging synth samples.
If you listen to the lyrics, you’re going to get ready for a kick-ass year. “New year, new money…” Rico Act’s vocals are trying to get you off the “same shit” and make 2017 a year to remember. Have fun in 2017 blasting this track because a free download has been added to the SoundCloud.
