Well, it’s happened again. A Drum and Bass artist that no-one has heard of before has completely come out of the woodwork and dropped a stomper of a debut single. Landing on The Prototypes’ new Get Hype Records, Glitch City’s Black Hole Skank not only carries a seriously cool name, but shows off some serious diversity across its five minute span. Samples relevant to the name lead up to the drop, which is essentially a skank. The bass design is spectacular, with more bass fills that pop up every now and again and blow your ears up. The flow is what makes this song so good though, forcing you to bop to it whenever you hear its infectious beat. Needless to say, Glitch City is one artist that you definitely want to get around.
