Gorillaz are easily the hottest thing in music today, spanning across all genres. It feels almost as if you see a headline involving them nearly everyday. It was only a matter of time before someone took it upon themselves to begin remixing tracks off of their new album. Amateur twists are welcome and easy to come across, but seeing that the Nic Fanciulli remixed a Gorillaz tune, then you have my attention.
For those unfamiliar to the techno and house world; Fanciulli tears it up and is widely respected and treated with the utmost respect. Everything from his Saved Records imprint, to his wildly successful festival by the name of The Social Festival spanning multiple countries, and being one of Carl Cox’s go-to b2b partners, the man can do it all — along with great remixes of Gorillaz. The track itself was one of the better ones off of the album, and having that Fanciulli spin on it is never a bad thing. The track now has that aura to be dropped anywhere from a pool party to a massive set at any festival.
