I couldn’t begin to tell you what a Genedefekt is, but I can tell you that the Pleasurekraft and Carlo Lio remix of one is incredible. I love the minimal house style of the track, it is easy to groove to and the vocals are short and sweet. Having seen Green Velvet live before, I know this sound fairly well and it is quite fun to just get down to at a festival or club.
This remix embodies that same style. It doesn’t try to do too much with the melodies or synths, but rather it puts them out there for us to groove and vibe to in our own way. Something I cannot resist doing as I try to type this review out. One of the cons of trying to write a review while listening to music, sometimes the music is just too good.
