Countdown? More like time to start counting up, because Hardwell confirmed he’s working on 40 – yes, FORTY – new tracks! Some of the new tracks are for his debut studio album. Several others are ghost productions for pop singers, which should be interesting to see play out in the coming months. He even revealed that he collaborated on two new songs with Tiesto! This continues the Dutch bromance that started with their track ‘Zero 76’ three years ago.
Hardwell wants to play some of these new tracks at Ultra Music Festival, but with so many options how will he choose? He admits that he has not figured out his set list at this time but that the show will definitely be huge. In addition, the new songs may go in a different direction from his popular house tunes from 2013. He says he wanted to make things fresh again, since he has noticed similarities in songs over the past year. Hardwell will close Ultra Music Festival’s Main Stage on Sunday, March 30th.
