Producer Hudson Mohawke has been visibly angry on twitter since March 13th alleging that rappers Drake and Kanye West are not paying him for the music that he has produced. Both as a well liked dance music artist and as a producer signed to the G.O.O.D. Music label Kanye West created, HudMo was upset because he was not getting the money he deserved for producing tracks. In the heat of the rage, he had posted a tweet stating that he was considering releasing a .zip file that contained unreleased tracks from both artists.
Later, he deleted this tweet and stated that he was not going to get into a legal battle because of these problems. He did, however, leave tweets stating what he believed has occurred as well as rather direct tweets that warn people not to work with mainstream rappers. He also gives credit to his friends and family for keeping him from “exposing frauds”.
It is an interesting little rant, including a tweet regarding someone signing him up for the Kanye To The forums with a rather obscene name. He also reminds his fans that these tweets are not threats, hence his deleting of the first tweet at 5:34 on the 13th. He just feels that this is unfortunate.
