Illenium is an artist I’ve loved for a long time, I had first discovered him through his remix of Tonight We’re Kids Again by Dada Life which is very different from the rest of his music. But little did I know, I had struck gold. This song is a prime example of why I struck gold, the immense talent that this man has and puts into his productions is phenomenal. Another notable thing is Illenium does a VERY good job at doing buildups to the drops of his songs, as well as continuing into his signature bass line in all of his songs that almost sounds distorted. Not only that, the vocals from Nevve are beautiful! Her voice flows perfectly with the vibe of the song and the acapella in the background surprised me as I normally don’t hear such effort put into songs in this scene.
