The Illenium remix album has been well and truly hyped and released already, but we loved Kill Paris’ remix of Only One so much that it had to have its own article. Even though Kill Paris has a penchant for ensuring that everything that he releases has his own distinct funky style, with this one he instead decided to keep as much of the original in there as possible. So he went minimal. Nina Sung’s vocals (although warped) still shine through like they did in the original, and the production more than does Illenium’s justice. It does have a build up/drop format, but given that the drop is more chilled than the build up you know that Kill Paris but a lot of thought and effort into this. And it shows. Give it a listen.
