This EP was meant to be written up way long ago. Maybe not. I have had it playing for quite some time, but I was fortunate to get a press copy. That said, I am stunned by how good this EP really is. Jai Wolf’s Kindred Spirits really hones in on the emotional factor and really plays with your emotions. It is as he is telling an auditory story without really any words. You may recognize some of the tracks that have been out for some time, “Indian Summer” or “Drive”, but the whole EP is just awe inspiring. I really can’t get enough of this music.
When people ask me for music to really relax and just lose themselves in the vibes, I always suggest Jai Wolf. This latest EP is prime example of this and him collaborating with Chain Gang of 1974 and MNDR really just exemplify how incredible the music really is. You must listen to this EP and do it as a whole. Take a moment out of your life with no phone or anything and just succumb the music.
