This week we’re throwing back to one of the most important songs in early Trance music, released back in 1993 when the genre was just a fledgling. Right In the Night was the perfect mix of the genre’s progressive, epic and uplifting style, while also catering to radio audiences through the vocals and catchy synths during the chorus. It may not have been heard at all in the USA, however it went big all across Europe – which is important as it was the birthplace of Trance. Even though Jam & Spoon did more to contribute to Trance than just this song, it’s their most popular and marks a point in time when Trance started to grow. Get back to the roots of an important genre and give it a listen!
