Justin Jay and Chris Lorenzo have collaborated on a wonderful new house track titled ‘Storm.’ While it is not some “banger” I would argue it is much better than that. With funk elements and echoes for days, the complex percussion adds a signature sound to the funky melody that weaves its way into your heart. The track seems simple, given that there are not a million sounds clashing together, but taken all together, the down-tempo nu-disco feel is worth all 6 minutes of listening time. The echo has a wonderful effect, seemingly distorting the rest of the track, sounding very 70’s-esque.
Overall I love the track, that nu-disco vibe and the funk melodies, coupled with a complex percussion element brings this song to the top tier. Check it out below and let us know what you think!
