The original is very vocally driven and smooth, what Kaytranada is able to do is coat the original with a more instrumental and house vibe. The track itself is so finely crafted and buoyant, the production details are sublime. It’s amazing at how dynamic he can get on different tracks. He is able to separate himself from the rest due to his seamlessly crisp reworks and originals.
