The remix of one of my all time favorite songs? How could I not be excited for a track like this? Just a Tune goes hard on the beat, too. The mix of piano samples and a strong percussion kit beat give the track a real Kid Cudi type of a beat.
The transition from the quick, upbeat percussion to the slow melodic piano and string instrumentals is an amazing contrast that works perfectly with how Cudi likes to rap and have his tracks instrumentally supported. The split is also an excellent depiction of a “day n night” beat.
