Now, only a few weeks into the new year, Lido and Santell have gone ahead and released their first collaborative EP of 2017. Featuring vocals by Santell, this release sets a tone that can only be described as passionate which is just what you would expect from this duo’s second “Passion Project;” the combination of Lido’s masterfully created sounds and Santell’s soothing voice alone can be considered a romantic gesture. The minimal use of percussion throughout the three tracks truly emphasizes Santell’s remarkable vocal abilities and also demonstrates Lido’s talent for producing simple melodies that can carry entire songs by themselves. Starting off the new year strong, it’s exciting to see what new heights these two will take their music to in the coming months.
