Another year, another yearly mix from the liquid drum & bass label Liquicity as they compile the best releases and songs featured on their channel into an hour. One new thing they added this year with their mix, is occasional voice clips from popular artists on the label, such as Rameses B, Feint, Fox Stevenson and Maduk throws his own little bit in at the end. This mix I’ve noticed however likes to stay in the theme of being very chilled out at some points but other times you’ll get slapped in the face with a dancefloor banger out of nowhere or an insanely hyped up transition/build up. Maduk’s mixing style is great at generating hype, which when mixed with his MC’s live is insanity.
All in all though, this year’s yearmix is another hit, thanks a bunch for all the great music Liquicity and here’s to more in the future. Stream it below, or click here to download it!
