If you’re familiar with the label Hospital Records, you’re more than likely familiar with its founder London Elektricity. He’s an artist who you can truly tell lives, breathes and feels music and revolves his life around it which is why I’m very glad to see that he made it to a big band. Watching the videos of this performance on Youtube with London on the bass you can see how happy he is and everyone on stage is having a blast as well. What amazes me so much is that the songs do definitely sound different as they’re not recorded but it also helps you realize how much is behind drum and bass when it seems so simple.
They covered many of London’s best songs, some of my favorites being Artificial Skin and Elektricity Will Keep Me Warm. Another thing they did to end off with a bang is a live cover of One More Time by none other than Daft Punk and it was PHENOMENAL. I truly was blown away by this album and live performance when it was just a replay! I cannot even imagine seeing this kind of a performance live, seeing Pendulum live was one thing but this is a whole other ballpark. Big ups to London Elektricity and the rest of the band, you guys have a bright future ahead of you and check out the live album below!
