The irony of this being a tropical house track is that I am about to leave for the beach. Ludwig Van & Dirty Bach sent me this track, “Where Were you” and it is one of the odder tracks I have ever heard. Interestingly enough, the best way to explain it is that if I was ever kidnapped and put on a strange island similar to The Prisoner (or for those who aren’t familiar with that reference, watch Season 12, Episode 6 of The Simpsons – The Computer Wore Menace Shoes at the end when he is kidnapped), this would be the track that would be constantly playing. I wouldn’t be upset, but I would just question everything about it.
It is addicting in the wierdest way. I am not even sure if I even like this track, but for some weird reason I can’t stop listening. The vocals itself are decent at best, but fits in with the track. The video is just a woman walking to the beach so enjoy a nice butt. This is considered jazzy tropical house so enjoy!
