Major Lazer & Grandtheft – Number One

March 21, 2016 by Nick Grindrod

After their enormous success last year with Lean On, their third album Peace Is The Mission and a slew of remixes, remakes and singles, Major Lazer have started 2016 a little bit late with a song that reminds you of their 2011 single Original Don, mixed with Skrillex & Diplo’s Dirty Vibe. It’s got the singalong element too, sampling the worldwide-known chant “Woooooooah, Heeeeeeeey”. It’s got the Reggae elements that you hear in most of their music, but goes harder, especially in the second drop that’s pure madness. Hopefully this is a single off their upcoming album Music Is The Weapon (slated for release in August or September), but what’s even better is that it’s free. Cop it down below.
