Imagine scrolling down Soundcloud and seeing a weird Marshmello face looking at you every week, almost like clockwork. Marshmello is back on my Soundcloud feed with his newest original mix; ColoUR. The ideas going on underneath that helmet of his are putting out banger after banger. I am a little biased because I have been loving everything Marshmello has been putting out, but how couldn’t you.
This latest track is everything that someone who loves some tropical house style music needs. It sounds as though its a little bit of a faster tempo compared to some of his earlier work, but it is just because he switches frombright synth patterns to the strong but still light bass during the drop. Marshmello stays consistent, adding in soundbytes of voices to hype up the listener and get them dancing. is the same style as he has been putting out for the same couple weeks and will hopefully be part of his set at Ultra.
