Deadmau5 may be in full album mode right now, but that hasn’t stopped him from setting aside a lot of time to collaborate with Masterclass, creating a masterclass aimed at anyone wanting to learn how to produce music, or those who want to get the extra edge. With lessons on every step of the process, from style development through to production, mixing, mastering, branding and playing shows.
Masterclass has not been released yet, and will cost a fair amount of money for a package of over 20 lessons and other resources, however will no doubt benefit anyone who is interested in becoming an electronic musician, or furthering their career. It’ll also be interesting to learn more about Deadmau5’s workflow, although this can also be seen by watching his studio session livestreams already. Either way, this will prove to be an extraordinary useful resource, and it would not be surprising to see a few artists rise to prominence as a result of this masterclass.
