MethLab // 2 (Bad Taste Recordings)

May 17, 2016 by Ty Sterling

meth lab2 -bad taste

Prepare your ears for some nasty snares, because MethLab brought some neurofunk bangers on this release for Bad Taste Recordings. Two of the tracks got played on Noisia’s podcast as well, so you can already tell this EP is going to be killer. The most notable track to me, would probably have to be Metal Jaws just because of all the samples used in it that really make the track live up to its name.

It starts off with the sounds of metal clanging together, and then slowly progresses into a filthy breakdown on the drop. Another track worth mentioning is Signature, due to the fact that it stands out from most jump up tracks these days by filling in the blank space in between the kicks and snares.

Overall I’d rate this EP an 9/10, keep your eyes peeled for its release on Beatport on May 20th, and worldwide on June 3rd because you’re not going to want to miss it.
