He’s back. Emperor’s beats oriented alias has just dropped another tune, and it’s nothing like you’ll have heard before. Sinking is an extremely accurate title for the sound of the song, which is essentially bass with a bit of percussion. Forget the percussion though. The bass is so enveloping, so consuming that you feel like you’re drowning in quicksand. Except you’re totally calm, and you want to find out what’s underneath it all. It turns out that what’s underneath is the climax, which is one simple climbing synth that’s warped specifically to make you feel emotions. It’s open to interpretation, but it’s going to make you react, I can say that. And it’s only 2 minutes long as well, even though it feels double that. Give Sinking a listen, you don’t want to miss out on this.
