As many of you know, Mysteryland recently released their 2017 lineup. After the release, many fans took to social media like Facebook and Twitter lamenting about why they chose the artists they chose. Well, after a bit of time with that lineup being released, Mysteryland’s follow up announcement came as a shock to fans. They have announced that Mysteryland 2017 will not be taking place this year.
Hopefully, Mysteryland will return in 2018. Along with that, hopefully the openness of fans will return as well. In regards to the announcement of the lineup and this festival cancellation announcement, fans took to social media to bash them for both their choice in artists and their decision in cancelling their event.
Mysteryland took to Facebook to announce this statement:
Dear Nomads,
Due to unforeseen circumstances, Mysteryland USA will no longer take place in 2017.
Since 2014, we have strived to produce the best possible experience for our festival attendees, and are truly humbled by all of the love and support that you, the artists, the beautiful venue of Bethel Woods Center for the Arts and the Town of Bethel have shown us as we celebrated life through music, culture and art.
Paylogic has started the refund process. Full refunds will be issued automatically to the bank account used to pay for the order within the next 3-5 business days. Paylogic will send all ticket buyers an update with more details about the refund process. The refunds will be processed automatically. No further action is required from your side.
