Oleska really wanted to make a bang with their brand new remix of ‘High’ by Nam’pa, not only would their amazing music do the talking but also adding some strong words that you can read below.
It isn’t clear if these clarifications are the result of a situation of indifferance towards eccessive classification operated by the people, or a simple personal decision, but it’s sure that these two young french guys (they are just eighteen!) have very clear ideas about what needs to be done and they have no fear to get involved in big games. Taking position at the forefront of the battle to build the future of music.
Listening to this tune is like diving into an oasis in the middle of a burning desert, what you will find is that it’s still common waters, but combined with a specific occasion, it assumes a (very) special value. This little example is very useful to analyze the remix: in fact there isn’t a specific new element that stands out from the others for its strangeness, but it’s the way they are combined and the frame inside which they are included that make the big difference.
It’s not useful to spend other specific words to decribe this authentic modern masterpiece, I will sound repetitive saying that it’s a mix of ‘nu disco, french touch and oriental atmosphere’, all I can do to give you a better idea is to suggest you to imagine Daft Punk, Nile Rodgers and Kygo playing together under the Giza piramids, during the sunset, while the Nile flows slowly.
