Nebbra has been making quite the name for himself. He started winning remix competition after remix competition, such as Lily Allen, Phantogram, and Party Thieves, and has been pumping out quality tunes ever since. Nebbra gave us the title track “You” at the beginning of November, and now we have his debut EP that was released on Zed’s Dead’s Deadbeats.
“You” starts of the EP with a strong effort of future synths, dark melodies, and vocals from Mike Sabath that just fit the vibe of the track perfectly. The second track “Fire Away” another track with vocals from Oktavian is driven by strong percussion, and a dark atmosphere. Those deeper vocals, and harmonies work well to provide a cathartic release during the drop. The last two track is really where Nebbra begins to show off his production skills. Gladiator is hodgepodge of trap, future bass, and glitch-hop that really works well together. Followed by “On The Moon” which has more of a dark, spacey, sort of Flume vibe. Nebbra sets his sights high with this EP and did not disappoint. Check it out below!
