Neodigital – Eurofunk Volume Two

November 24, 2016 by Nick Grindrod

Phace and Misanthrop’s label Neodigital may only have eight releases, but every single one of those releases is special, forward thinking and especially unique within the realm of bass music. The eighth release is the second volume of their Eurofunk compilation series, which focuses on Neurofunk by mainland European artists. Who would have guessed. Well, this compilation absolutely lives up to its expectations, displaying an array of styles that could only be present on a label like Neodigital. Big names in Drum and Bass show up, like Crissy Criss and Current Value, as well as artists making a name for themselves, like Signal and Lockjaw, but what remains constant throughout is quality and experimentation with sounds and styles. The beats are fast but in this case that’s a good thing, so make sure to check out a quality compilation below.
