Dr. Fresch is a hot new producer that you should really keep your eye on. All summer long, Fresch has been keeping it retro with some phenomenal remixes of so many huge hits from my childhood. One of Fresch’s standouts is hands down his Summer Revival Remix for No Doubt’s ‘Hella Good’. Granted, the majority of their 2001 album still sounds fresh today, but 13 years and a few average remixes later, nobody really recaptured the magic… until now. The Summer Revival Remix is everything you could want in an EDM-ified version of a classic No Doubt single. The deep house, the echo vocals, the trumpets… sheesh! This is literally a festival gold mine, and with Gwen Stefani prepping for her Maroon 5 collaboration and The Voice coaching spot this fall through her appearances at the MTV Video Music Awards and Primetime Emmy’s this weekend, the gold rush is bound to hit the dance floors in no time. (Okay, so I may be a little biased, but everyone has that one band they’ll always love.) Enjoy this little treasure.
