Dutch trio Noisia have well and truly cemented themselves as one of the most unique and forward thinking acts in electronic music, and after announcing a new tour with a new stage set up, they’ve gone one further and announced an album as well. The name Outer Edges refers to the trio exploring the outer edges of their style, which essentially means that one of the most creative artists in EDM is getting really creative, even by their standards. There will be no collaborations and hardly any vocals on the album, which would be a hard ask for many artists. But not Noisia.
Collider, the single that was released along with the album, shows exactly what they mean. It’s a gritty mix of Techno and Breakbeat, with dark and heavy industrial vibes flowing throughout. It’s an interesting piece of music to listen to, and combined with 17 other songs on the album will make for an epic experience.
