Last year’s brain-busting album Outer Edges had the bass scene tearing their faces off, but even after 16 new tunes that wasn’t enough for Noisia – a few months ago the remix album added another dimension to the Outer Edges experience. Most artists would leave it at that, but not Noisia. They’ve released another pack of remixes, this time five remixes of their own music that are just as ridiculous as the originals on the album.
Famous for staying ahead of the pack when it comes to production and sound design, Noisia have not disappointed. Their own takes on Voodoo and Surfaceless (from the LP) accompany remixes of their older songs Diplodocus, Tommy’s Theme and the ever-hyped Dead Limit. Crossing grimy halftime beats with Dubstep, these five songs will make your jaw drop multiple times with the sheer quality of production. Give them a listen.
