As everyone knows and is excited for, the first ever Electronic Music Awards and Foundation will be presented on April 14th at the SLS Hotel in Los Angeles and air on Saturday, April 23rd (8pm-9pm Eastern) on Fox. Today, they have announced the nominations for the seven categories that the awards will be given out for. Amazingly enough, they aren’t all the type of tracks, albums, or artists that are featured in trending pop culture, but based purely off skill, talent, and excellence. Executive Producer from TV4 Entertainment, Paul Duddridge said [regarding the nominees]: “The nominees reflect dance music trends on a global level bringing together DJs, producers, clubs and brands that represent a wide range of genres.” The show will feature the typical red carpet coverage as well as award presentations. Also, you’ll see live performances and interviews.
