The first thing I noticed when playing this track was the weird, crazy vocals. They don’t detract from the track in any way, but they are just different, and I can’t exactly tell what they are saying. It gives the atmosphere an even groovier vibe to compliment the low frequency melody.
To jump to the opposite end of the frequency scale, I love how it is used to offset the lower frequencies and keep listeners from getting bored. This track seems to hover between some kind of funk and house mix and I love something that defies classification. As I listen for the fourth time, I hear new portions of the song that eluded my ears before, only to see how they fit into the overall feel of the song moments later.
Excellent work Paige, I quite enjoy being able to groove to a song like this while hearing new things about it with each successive play. Listen for yourself below!
