The hype train for Pendulum continues after their live set at Ultra Miami 2016, with an exclusive DJ Set being announced for this year’s Origin NYE in the band’s hometown of Perth, Australia. Rob Swire, Gareth McGrillen and usual DJ Paul ‘El Hornet’ Harding will play together, in a performance that has been hyped as going back to beginnings. Naturally excitement for a possible reunion increased a huge amount after the announcement, however Rob had this to say about it:
FYI you can probably ignore all the "Pendulum reuniting" bullshit tweets. It's a one-off DJ set, because we happened to be in Perth.

Which he then followed up with this:
I didn't say that. I just said all the promo/tweets about it are bullshit – including that one 😉

Who knows what will happen with Pendulum in future given Rob’s love for messing with everyone about the band’s potential return, but their website gives some hope. What we can be sure about is that they will tear up the decks on New Years’ Eve, and you’ll hear all about what happens when they play.
