A huge undertaking is now officially available thanks to the bountiful efforts of a few. Thomas Xavier, black a.m., Chomper, St.Sinny, and Elevatd are amongst the names that have put their best foot forward to play a role in one captivating house experience that is like few out there.
Pharaoh’s Gold Vol. 1, releases on label Pharaoh Phonix, the birth childing of rapidly rising talent Thomas Xavier. A common concept that is sensed across the album is that these are house tunes built for a club or festival setting, yet upon deeper inspection, there’s so much that can be appreciated. Whether you headbang to the heavy energy of “P&B,” or are feeling the aura of semi-spiritual single “Say You Got Me,” the dynamism that is afoot with Pharaoh’s Gold Vol. 1 is something that cannot be looked over.
What many may not see is that Pharaoh’s Gold is a fairly new undertaking. It’s a label that is under a year old but already has a growing catalog of growing artists, a beautiful combination and a precious sight to behold.
The compilation is a positive turn for the label, but more than likely marks the start of more great things to come. Thomas Xavier, by all accounts, is a tried and true hustler. In the last year he’s performed as spots all over the country, has attained over a million streams, and gained the support of big DJs and new outlets alike. More will be unfolding from the entity that is Pharoah Phonix in good time.
