Rain Man Releases First Official Solo Track- Visionary

March 19, 2015 by Nick Pesavento

rainman-visionary

We all remember the breakup of Krewella and swirling rumors about Rain Man being kicked out and all of the drama that went with it? Well Rain Man is back and he has released his first official single since becoming a solo act. Guess who the song is about?

I’ll give you a hint, here’s the first verse: “I’m a fucking visionary / But they brushed me off / If I was dead would they love me then / Or would I be forgot.”

That seems right to the point really, Krewella, Rain Man is talking directly at you and I have to say, this new song of his, Visionary, is absolutely going to kill it. The vocals by Sirah are excellent and the trap beats are explosive and will get you dancing, no matter what genre you listen to. “Visionary” is also slightly reminiscent of other songs we have come to know under another name…

Any way, “Visionary” is a poignant strike at the Yousaf sisters for all the wrongs that Rain Man feels he has been dealt. I quite enjoy the song on its own, separate from all of the drama and attention it has gotten for the lyrics. With Buygore and Red Lights management behind him, Rain Man looks to climb back to the top of the game and with quality songs like this, it will not take long. Expect to see more great work by Rain Man in the future and hopefully he’ll premier more on his upcoming mini-tour.

Check out the song for yourself below and let us know what you think!
