I’d like to be the first to introduce the track “Rude Chick (Javascript Remix)” premiering right here on EDM Assassin.
Rena brings an entirely new dynamic to the electronic scene with a pop-punk edge that has largely been untouched. The hard-nosed edge to “Rude Chick” has been taken over by Javascript who brings the heavy bass/percussion elements to this track. We hear a remarkable echo with the vocals and it truly ups the game with this remix, taking it from something you’d enjoy once or twice, to a staple sound of Javascript.
Though Javascript remains a big name in the Brooklyn underground scene, stellar tracks like this remix are helping to build the household name with plans to bring an exclusive mix to Rick Owens SS17 show in Paris. Electronic music is due for a little shake up and Rena/Javascript are heading in the right direction.
