It is not often that an artist debuts music at 15 and 5 years later is still making incredible music, just entering the prime of their career. Richey has stunned us all with his impressive tracks and ‘Magic’ is definitely no different.
The track begins with an uplifting melody and vocal samples that wet your mouth as you wait for the song to really begin. The percussion work here is phenomenal as the drums set the pace of the track and are great for getting you into the track. Adding in beautiful vocals and a light airy melody, we hear the full song develop into something that is certainly unique. I love the up-beat nature of ‘Magic’ as it seems to infuse native dances to an electronic sound that will have club audiences fawning over the entire track, begging for more. I want more. I want the entire song to be played, not just mixed in.
Maybe I’ll get my wish.
