Offensive begins on a high note, drawing in listeners with the first few notes. It transitions quickly into a dramatic intro that climbs and climbs until you cannot be sure it will ever end. Just as you think you’ll lose all momentum, the track drops and the beat gets nasty. The electro synth comes out loud and in charge as the song rushes on, not stopping to see if you have caught up.
I love the slow breakdown in the middle of the song, as it is a chance for everyone to catch their breath and adjust their headphones, readying themselves for round 2. Again the beat builds higher and higher into a vocal sample, only to drop the floor beneath our feet. The hard, aggressive, electro melody really drives this song to another level. There is no rest for the listeners and ultimately the song stays strong until the end. Another fantastic track from Rivero and Timmo Hendriks.
